VERY LOW FREQUENCY (VLF)
If we go down to a Very Low Frequency, the influence of harmonics should be felt less and less by parasites, until
there is not enough energy to do anything at all (theoretical “good sense”).
Is 15Hz strong enough to act with "Harmonic Resonant Frequency" effect ?
I don’t think so. But in the middle of a sea of uncertainty, I could be wrong
This frequency (15Hz) has been put forward by an American manufacturer, Don Croft and his Terminator Zapper, a
very special zaper using a Moebus antenna, rare stones, a magnet, and other curiosities for Experts in this field (I
am not one of them in this area) This frequency "shakes" all these accessories, "energizing" them and adding a
“bonus” to the basic zapper.
If the effect of "resonance frequency" does not applies, and the basic effect is at its low level (10Hz to 500 000Hz),
what could be the action of this zapper?
This frequency is part of VLF band (Very Low Frequency), from about 0.5Hz to about 100Hz. These frequencies are
produced by the brain in a natural way, according to our level of consciousness, and are also recognized by the
brain, who by a natural effect of entrainment, starts producing them.
Devices known as "sound and light", others called CES (Craneal Electro-Stimulation) use these principles with good
succes, to change our state of consciousness.
At least 3 zappers on the market, the MZ3c, MZ6AK and MZ6AK-CVS, all made by Maestro-Zapper, also uses
these principles to induce an altered state of consciousness called "Deep Sleep"
What are these VLF?
In our field of interest (Brain entrainment), they go from 0.5Hz to about 100Hz, in different bands, the most
popular being the alpha band. These VLF had been used in some hospitals to cure chronic insomnia, withdrawal of
hard drugs, depression, and many other dysfunction, with no known side effects.
The following definitions are taken from the book “Mega Brain Power” written by Mr Hutchinson.
“ Since the first EEG was devised in the 1920s, scientists have found that the brain has a tendency to
produce brain waves of four distinct varieties, which they have called beta, alpha, theta, and delta.”
“Beta Waves The most rapid brain waves, beta waves, range in frequency from about 14 cycles per second
(called 14 Hertz, abbreviated Hz) to more than 100 Hz. When we are in a normal waking state, eyes open,
focusing on the world outside ourselves or dealing with concrete, specific problems, beta waves
(particularly those between 14 and 40 Hz) are the most dominant and powerful waves in the brain. Beta
waves are associated with alertness, arousal, concentration, cognition, and at excessive levels-anxiety”
“Alpha Waves As we close our eyes and become more relaxed, passive, or unfocused, brain-wave activity
slows down, and we produce bursts of alpha waves, which range in frequency from about 8 to 13 Hz. If we
become quite relaxed and mentally unfocused, alpha waves become dominant throughout the brain,
producing a calm and pleasant sensation called the alpha state. The alpha state seems to be the brain's
"neutral" or idling state, and people who are healthy and not under stress tend to produce a lot of alpha
activity. Lack of significant alpha activity can be a sign of anxiety, stress, brain damage, or illness.”
“Theta Waves As calmness and relaxation deepen into drowsiness, the brain shifts to slower, more
powerfully rhythmic theta waves, with a frequency range of about 4 to 8 Hz. Theta has been called the
twilight state, between waking and sleep. It's often accompanied by unexpected, dreamlike mental images.
Often these images are accompanied by vivid
memories, particularly childhood memories. Theta offers access to unconscious material, reveries, free
association, sudden insight, creative ideas. It's a mysterious, elusive state, and for a long time
experimenters had difficulty studying it because it is hard to maintain for any period of time. Most people
tend to fall asleep as soon as they begin generating large amounts of theta.”
“Delta Waves As we fall asleep the dominant brain waves become delta, which are even slower than theta,
in the frequency range below 4 Hz.
When most of us are in the delta state we're either asleep or otherwise unconscious. However, there is
growing evidence that individuals may maintain consciousness while in a dominant delta state. This seems
to be associated with certain deep trancelike or "nonphysical" states. It is while we're in the delta state that
our brains are triggered to release large quantities of healing growth hormone.”
The VLF have been used too to modify the consciousness state of the experimenter, to help him to relax, to
improve memory, learning and many other qualities.
Here is some usual uses of these devices.
= Improve quality of sleep.
= Relief of insomnia (without side effects).
= Decrease of stress and mental fatigue.
= Improve learning and memory.
= Increase meditation capacity.
= Increase creativity and mental imagery.
= Help autosuggestion.
= Brain hemisphere synchronization.
= Improve mild or deep relaxation.
= Improve weak up without use of caffeine.
= Improve overall mood.
= Conscious exploration of all these modified states of conscientiousness
How the VLF act?
If you can't sleep when you go to bed, your brain waves are most likely not slowing down. If you have a busy mind
and can't stop thinking, then you are not relaxing.
Your brain waves will just keep on going fast like the beta waves described above.
When brainwave entrainment is used to relief insomnia the brainwaves we want to guide you into, are the waves
produced by the brain when it prepares your body for sleep. When you are sleeping your brainwaves slow down
to 4Hz and less.
When your brainwaves slow down, your heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, breathing and muscle
tension all relax too. As you progress into the session, you will become very deeply relaxed and will drift gently
into a natural,
deep and restoring sleep.
What is remarkable with this type of device is that it acts like a dictionary : The more you use-it, the faster it helps
you, and the less you need-it (Could we call this anti-addictive?)
Several types of brainwave entrainment inductors are available out there. Some cost thousands of dollars and use
the power of a computer.
Others are merely metronomes that require all your attention.
All are trying to "shake " the brain more or less vigorously, to encourage it to get into the desired state.
What's so special with this 15Hz
In between the Beta band
(stimulating) and Alpha band
(relaxing), this frequency leaves a
“taste of exciting relaxation”
experience in zapping session.
It is, moreover, twice the 7.8Hz
frequency of Schumann, inducing a
state of harmony with our
surroundings, and a feeling of inner
security. It also has a good
reputation as emotional moderator,
regulator of blood pressure and
other effects consistent with the
resonant frequency of our "Mother
